STERILIZATION
STERILIZATION CHAIN GUARANTEEING HYGIENE AND ASEPSIS
Decontamination eliminates micro-organisms, bacteria and organic matter present on the equipment used before the cleaning stage.
Cleaning of instruments is carried out as soon as the instruments are taken out of the decontamination tank. The material can then be handled for thermal, chemical, and mechanical cleaning.
The instruments are then rinsed thoroughly to remove any dirt and residual detergent. Then they are dried carefully, thus preventing corrosion.
All the equipment to be sterilized is then packaged in specific packaging.
The instruments are then put in a sterilization autoclave for the necessary time.
Finally, all surfaces are cleaned with a bactericidal, fungicidal, and virucidal product.
